Eligibility is determined based off of the recorded quarter grade in PowerSchool at 4pm on Thursday afternoon. Grades may change after 4pm or over the weekend as teachers are continuing to grade assignments and enter grades. The “new” grades entered after 4pm on Thursday will affect the next eligibility cycle.

Range Judging Practice: Range judging practice will be Monday through Thursday beginning at 7:15 am.
ACT TEST REGISTRATION—Students wanting to take the ACT test on October 28 must have their registration completed by Friday, September 22. You can register for the ACT test at www.act.org. If you received free and reduced lunches, you are eligible for a fee waiver. See Mrs. Nollette for details.

JH & HS Cross Country: Competing in Gordon-Rushville at 4 pm on Thursday, September, 21st. Leave time is 2pm.
JH VB: Play in Rushville on Thursday, September, 21st at 5:00 pm. Leave time from Cody is 2:30pm.
JH FB & VB: Play in Hyannis on Friday, September, 22nd. JH leave time is 9am. JH FB plays at 12pm. JH VB plays at 2pm.
HS FB & VB: Play in Hyannis on Friday, September 22nd. HS leave time is 1pm. VB games start at 4pm and FB games start at 7 pm.

Chadron State College will be holding a Health Professions Day on October 4 – Health Professions Day is for students interested in seeking a health career. The day will include health modules, a student panel will share their experiences in preparing for a career in the health fields, and information on the RHOP Program. UNITED STATES YOUTH SENATE PROGRAM – is an all expense paid opportunity to hear major policy addresses by senators, cabinet members, officials of the Departments of State and Defense and leaders of other federal agencies, as well as participate in a meeting with a justice of the U.S. Supreme Court and the President of the United States. Two students from each state will be selected upon their application and an exam. To apply you must be a Junior or Senior, be actively serving an elected or appointed office in the Student Council, Class Office, or National Honor Society. See Mrs. Nollette for an application form and more complete details. Applications must be received by the Nebraska Department of Education by October 4.
